Front of House Assistant – Be the Face of Great Service!
Location & Details
- Location: HMS Caledonia, Rosyth, KY11 2XH
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
- Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week, 2-week shift rotation)
Shift Pattern
Week 1:
- Sat & Sun: 06:30 – 14:00, then 16:30 – 19:30
- Wed & Thu: 06:30 – 14:00, then 16:30 – 19:30
Week 2:
- Mon & Tue: 06:30 – 14:00, then 16:30 – 19:30
- Fri: 06:30 – 14:00, then 16:30 – 19:30

Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all legislative, Client, and Company Policies
- Perform catering duties to a high standard, including:
- Serving on counters
- Replenishing stock
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the current menu and safe practices
- Clean dining rooms, plate washing & pan washing
- Ensure cleanliness across all Front of House (FOH) areas and kitchen
- Apply safe catering hygiene and display basic catering skills
- Perform any required tasks to support team objectives
Requirements
- Legal right to work in the UK (with residency waivers available if eligible)
- Pass security vetting and DBS checks
- Silver Service-trained or experienced (if applicable)
- High standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and demeanour
- Self-control under pressure and adaptability
- Consistent attendance, health, and positive social behaviour
- Sound knowledge of safe catering hygiene and basic food preparation techniques
- Valid Basic Food Hygiene qualification
