Samba Soccer Schools® is an innovative soccer school that teaches children aged 4 to 12 in the London area how to play football the Brazilian way, using a unique coaching methodology and training syllabus. The program combines samba music, size 2 weighted footballs, and storytelling to create a fun and memorable grassroots football experience. Alongside developing technical skills and flair, the school focuses on social development by building confidence, discipline, and knowledge in young players. Courses are designed by professional coaches and emphasize ball mastery and core 1v1 moves to help each child grow as a player and as a person. Role Description
The Football Coach will deliver high-energy, engaging training sessions to children aged 4 to 12, following Samba Soccer Schools®’ Brazilian-style coaching methodology and curriculum. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The coach will foster both football development and social growth, encouraging confidence, discipline, teamwork, and fair play. Additional duties may include:
- Liaising with parents and guardians
- Supporting course administration
- Contributing to session design
- Helping with events or camps as needed
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the South London Area, United Kingdom.
Qualifications
- Strong Football Coaching and Coaching skills, with experience working with children in grassroots or academy environments.
- Solid understanding of Football techniques and training principles, including ball mastery, 1v1 skills, and small-sided games.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage young players and maintain professional relationships with parents and colleagues.
- Experience in Training delivery, session planning, and adapting coaching methods to different ages and abilities.
- Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., FA coaching badges or equivalent) and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A genuine passion for youth development, with a focus on building confidence, discipline, and teamwork through sport.
- Ability to work on-site in the London Area, including evenings and weekends as required by class schedules.
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom; enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
