Ready to lead, inspire and shape the future of over 1,100 young footballers?
Help shape the future of one of the South West's largest independent football development programmes.
You'll drive standards, guide our coaches, identify talent and play a critical role in creating opportunities for the next generation of footballers.
About North Somerset Regional Talent Centre
North Somerset Regional Talent Centre (NSRTC) is one of the South West's leading football development pathways. We provide ambitious young players with structured opportunities to develop, compete and progress.
Beginning with just a handful of players over 20 years ago, our football pathway now supports more than 1,100 male and female players across multiple age groups, training venues and competitive programmes.
From skills development to Junior Premier League football, international tours and professional club fixtures, we provide clear and realistic pathways for players to reach their potential.
We aren't just any club. As part of the North Somerset Sports Foundation, our purpose extends beyond developing better footballers.
We are committed to creating opportunities, removing barriers to participation and delivering an environment where young people can thrive both on and off the pitch.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an exceptional Football Programme Manager to help lead our football programme and maintain the high standards that define NSRTC.
Why This Role Is Different
Unlike many academy roles, this position offers genuine leadership responsibility. You'll influence strategy, shape programmes, develop coaches, build relationships with professional clubs and help create one of the country's leading independent football development pathways.
With more than 1,100 players, multiple training venues, a Post-16 Football Education Programme, Junior Premier League teams, regular fixtures against professional clubs, international tours and a direct pathway into Clevedon Town FC, this is one of the most exciting football leadership opportunities outside the professional game in the South West.
What You Get
This is an opportunity to take ownership of one of the largest independent football development programmes in the South West and play a key role in shaping its future.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
