Role Overview
We seek an organised, detail-focused, and proactive Forecasting Operations Coordinator to join our small, diverse Central Forecasting Team of 7.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as the central operational hub, liaising between departments, suppliers, and forecasters.
- Gather key information to support accurate forecasting.
- Balance workloads, track product lifecycles and escalate risks.
- Ensure forecasts are timely, responsive and well-informed.

Key Responsibilities
1. Timeline Coordination
- Map forecast deadlines and milestones with manufacturing and buying partners, focusing on new launches.
- Flag bottlenecks and redistribute workloads for efficiency.
- Communicate forecast requests, updates, and deadlines clearly, including changes to seasonal ranges.
2. Data Gathering
- Help cloud insight teams and analysts stay ahead of trends and feedback.
- Maintain a central master calendar for seasonal events, tracking year-on-year shifts and market variances.
- Gather and collate product lifecycle data (e.g., stock sizes, pricing, availability) into a reference point for the team.
3. Operational Support
- Maintain accurate product sampling lists for team members.
- Oversee shared drives and the team’s primary email inbox.
- Serve as the key liaison between product operations leads and the forecasting team, summarising actionable updates.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Project Coordination: Experience managing fluid timelines across multiple stakeholders.
- Systems Creation: Ability to build Google Sheets tracking tools or workflows from scratch.
- Attention to Detail: Spot likelihood changes in dates, SKUs, and product variations—across diverse sources.
- Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for well-rounded fixes—not just reactive to problems.
