About the Role

The position of Teller serves as a front-line ambassador to local clientele and global tourists. Success in this role relies on:

-Creating a welcoming and cheerful environment for clients during branch transactions, as well as during phone and email interactions.

-Engaging with clients to accurately assess their needs and offer appropriate products and services.

-Demonstrating problem-solving skills with a flexible approach to new challenges.

-Communicating effectively and professionally regarding Calforex policies, as well as Federal or Provincial regulations for Money Service Businesses.

-Committing to ongoing training for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) legislation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a proactive and pleasant experience to clients during all forms of interaction.
  • Upselling foreign exchange products and related services to local and international clients.
  • Handling cash transactions with accuracy and adherence to policy.
  • Adhering to compliance standards and regulatory obligations, including AML/ATF laws.
  • Supporting fellow team members while maintaining a professional and collaborative atmosphere.

Requirements (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Confidence in the use of computers, email, and basic web browsing.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Minimum two years of professional customer service experience.
  • Minimum two years of professional cash handling experience.
  • Reliable transportation or the ability to commute during branch operating hours.
  • Ability to pass a police clearance report.
