Foreman (Sizewell C)

Venevsky Brown Sizewell C

Venesky-Brown are looking for an experienced Foreman / General Foreman to work with a contractor delivering civils works packages on the off-site infrastructure works at the Sizewell C project in Suffolk.

This role requires someone with strong highways, earthworks and drainage experience who is confident supervising gangs, coordinating daily site activities and driving works forward safely and efficiently.

Duties will include:

  • Supervising site teams, gangs and subcontractors
  • Managing daily works across highways, earthworks and drainage
  • Setting teams to work and monitoring productivity
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification
  • Carrying out briefings and ensuring RAMS are followed
  • Liaising with site management, engineers and other trades
  • Reporting progress, issues and delays to the site team
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Qualifications

  • CSCS Gold card or above
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Desirable: First Aid

Essential requirements:

  • Previous Foreman or General Foreman experience
  • Strong highways, earthworks and drainage background
  • Experience supervising civils gangs on major infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of site health and safety
  • Ability to manage labour, plant and materials
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Temporary Works awareness
  • Previous major infrastructure or nuclear project experience

Overtime rates payable after initial 10 hours worked per day Monday to Friday and all hours on Saturday and Sunday. Accrued holiday pay and employee pension scheme.
