About the role The Role Ready to lead, inspire, and make an impact in a fast-paced workshop environment? We're looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Foreman to join our dynamic Plant & Tool division. If you're passionate about machinery, thrive on team leadership, and want to be part of a business that's growing fast—this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

As the Foreman, you'll be at the heart of our depot operations, ensuring our fleet of diggers, dumpers, and power tools is maintained to the highest standards and always hire-ready. You'll lead a team of Fitters, manage workloads, and drive performance—all while keeping safety, efficiency, and quality front and centre.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role offering real career progression in a company that invests in its people. What You'll Be Doing • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the depot workshop and ensuring plant equipment is consistently available for hire • Allocating and monitoring workloads across the fitter team to maximise productivity and meet performance targets • Leading by example to maintain high standards of safety, service, and equipment care • Implementing planned maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and repair costs • Ensuring accurate records of servicing, repairs, and appliance testing are maintained and compliant with legislation • Managing workshop cleanliness, vehicle maintenance schedules, and off-hire inspections
