Why this opportunity

This is a UK advisory firm with deep roots in insolvency and restructuring, where forensic work sits at the centre of contentious, investigation-led mandates. The team works closely with officeholders, legal advisers and corporate stakeholders on high-profile disputes, fraud matters and insolvency-related investigations.

This is not a siloed disputes role within a large corporate structure. The London team operates with pace and commercial focus, giving Managers genuine visibility, responsibility and influence from day one.

With sustained growth in contentious and investigation-led work, the team is now looking to hire a Manager to take ownership of live matters and play a visible role in shaping delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who this suits

You are likely operating at Manager level within a larger disputes team and want greater ownership of cases and closer proximity to decision-makers. You enjoy contentious work and want exposure to matters that are commercially and legally significant, not just technically complex.

You are ready for a role where your contribution is visible and your progression is not constrained by layers of hierarchy.
