Main Job Summary
To ensure the smooth flow and management of PC, Cell Site, CCTV, and mobile phone cases from receipt until dispatch.
Main Duties & Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)
- Being the first point of contact for contracted clients of CCL, overseeing the submissions, ensuring evidence continuity and case management from receipt to dispatch.
- Dealing with customer enquiries, by email and telephone.
- Ability to work with precision, accuracy, and high attention to detail.
- Liaise with customers and arrange for collection/delivery of exhibits to CCL laboratory.
- Inspection of items arriving at CCL.
- Receipting of items on CCL Systems ensuring the continuity of evidence.
- Loading cases onto Focal Point case management system.
- Quality checking the case loading process ensuring any anomalies are documented and the customer is notified (if applicable).
- Customer reporting and monitoring Projected Return Dates (PRDs) of cases.
- Updating Focal Point case management system ensuring information is accurate and up to date with the current status of a case.
- Auditing of Exhibit Store (Team Effort) & Archives.
- Working with the other departments within CCL to ensure correct case management and excellent customer service.
- Create quotes and obtain authorisation for casework when required from clients.
- Upon completion of case, arrange for delivery by CCL or collection by client.
- Release and sign out exhibits and casework to client or CCL driver ensuring continuity of evidence.
- Invoicing of completed cases on the case management system and assisting Finance.
- Produce Management Information for CCL-Group Management Team and for Customers, as required, including weekly/monthly work reports.

- Proficient in Microsoft Product – Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to use a range of software packages.
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload.

Other Role Requirements
- Minimum 5 years UK residency.
- Satisfactorily pass pre-hire and annual security clearance procedures in accordance with the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) National Vetting Scheme.
