About the Role

Location: RSM UK Position: Forensic Disputes Manager (Managing Consultant)

There has never been a more exciting time to join RSM’s digitally led Forensic practice. As this area continues to grow, we are expanding our disputes capability and offering the opportunity to take on a hands-on Manager role within a dynamic and ambitious team.

Our Forensic team supports clients across a broad range of contentious matters, combining technical expertise with commercial insight to deliver high-quality work in complex and often high-profile situations. This role offers the chance to work across key areas including:

  • Quantum and damages analysis
  • Business valuations
  • Supply purchase agreement (SPA) disputes
  • Business interruption and warranty claims
  • Litigation and mediation support

As a Manager (Managing Consultant) in our Disputes team, you will:

  • Manage and deliver client assignments, supporting senior leadership.
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for progressing work, coordinating junior team members, and building strong relationships with clients and instructing lawyers.
  • Contribute to business development activity and help grow this expanding area of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll make a real impact by:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of disputes and expert accounting assignments across a diverse portfolio of matters
  • Preparing, reviewing, and finalising high-quality client deliverables, reports, and other written outputs
  • Building strong relationships with clients and instructing lawyers while addressing queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitoring deadlines, budgets, and assignment financial performance to ensure smooth progression
  • Coaching junior team members, supporting assignment planning, and contributing to proposals, pitches, and broader business development

Requirements

We’re looking for a highly motivated and professionally qualified accountant with:

  • Experience in disputes-related work and forensic accounting assignments
  • Strong technical capability and a practical, hands-on approach to delivering high-quality client work
  • Proven ability to manage multiple work streams, take ownership of delivery, and support junior colleagues

Ideal Candidate:

  • Professionally qualified accountant with disputes-related experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, coordinate work, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong financial analysis capability
  • Clear written communication skills to produce high-quality reports for diverse audiences
  • Collaborative yet proactive mindset that allows for independent work, assignment management, and coaching
