Forensic Disputes Manager

Manager (Managing Consultant) – Disputes Practice | RSM UK

About the Role

There has never been a more exciting time to join RSM’s digitally led Forensic practice. As this area continues to grow, we are expanding our disputes capability, offering the opportunity to take on a hands-on Manager role within a dynamic and ambitious team.

Our Forensic team supports clients across a wide range of contentious matters, combining technical expertise with commercial insight to deliver high-quality work in complex and often high-profile situations. This role offers the chance to work across:

  • Expert accounting engagements (quantum and damages analysis, valuations)
  • SPA disputes (Share Purchase Agreement)
  • Business interruption and warranty claims
  • Litigation and mediation support

As a Manager (Managing Consultant) in our Disputes team, you will:

  • Play a central role in managing and delivering client assignments
  • Support senior leadership while taking day-to-day responsibility for:
    • Progressing work
    • Coordinating junior team members
    • Building relationships with clients and instructing lawyers
  • Contribute to business development activity, helping to grow this expanding area

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day delivery of disputes and expert accounting assignments across a varied portfolio of matters
  • Preparing, reviewing, and finalising high-quality client deliverables (reports, financial analyses)
  • Building strong relationships with clients and lawyers while responding to queries professionally
  • Monitoring deadlines, budgets, and assignment financial performance
  • Coaching junior team members and contributing to proposals, pitches, and broader development efforts

Requirements & Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated, professionally qualified accountant with:

  • Previous experience in disputes-related work or forensic accounting
  • Strong technical capability and practical, hands-on approach
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, take ownership of delivery, and support junior colleagues
