Forest School & Outdoor Education Practitioner
Salary: £26,436-£27,476
Multiple Locations: Packmoor, Tunstall, and Chell
Outdoor Education and Forest School training will be provided.

At Nurtured Childcare, we believe the best classrooms have no walls. We’re on the lookout for a visionary Forest School & Outdoor Education practitioner to bring the magic of the outdoors to life across our nursery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support our Outdoor Education Lead in designing and delivering awe-inspiring Forest School and outdoor education experiences.
- Champion wellbeing through nature-based learning that nurtures children, families, and staff alike.
- Create magical spaces that spark curiosity, exploration, and environmental awareness.
- Promote sustainability through hands-on eco-activities, community allotments, and the 3 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
- Build community through stay-and-play sessions, open days, and partnerships that connect people with nature.
- Support growth by helping the nursery embed our outdoor ethos from day one.
- Keep it safe with robust risk assessments, safeguarding practices, and compliance with EYFS and health & safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified childcare practitioner (level 3 in childcare) with a deep love for outdoor education.
- A creative thinker with a flair for designing engaging, inclusive outdoor learning experiences.
- A sustainability advocate who walks the talk.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, child-centred environment.
- Someone who’s not afraid to get muddy, climb trees, or build a bug hotel!
