Forest School & Outdoor Education Practitioner

Salary: £26,436-£27,476
Multiple Locations: Packmoor, Tunstall, and Chell

Outdoor Education and Forest School training will be provided.

Are you a nature-loving, mud-embracing, tree-hugging educator with a passion for outdoor learning?

At Nurtured Childcare, we believe the best classrooms have no walls. We’re on the lookout for a visionary Forest School & Outdoor Education practitioner to bring the magic of the outdoors to life across our nursery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support our Outdoor Education Lead in designing and delivering awe-inspiring Forest School and outdoor education experiences.
  • Champion wellbeing through nature-based learning that nurtures children, families, and staff alike.
  • Create magical spaces that spark curiosity, exploration, and environmental awareness.
  • Promote sustainability through hands-on eco-activities, community allotments, and the 3 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
  • Build community through stay-and-play sessions, open days, and partnerships that connect people with nature.
  • Support growth by helping the nursery embed our outdoor ethos from day one.
  • Keep it safe with robust risk assessments, safeguarding practices, and compliance with EYFS and health & safety standards.
