Fork Lift Driver
**Forklift Driver (Permanent, Full-Time) – Grantham
Department: Operations Location: Grantham Compensation: £13.43/hour Application Deadline: 7 August 2026
About the Role
As a Forklift Driver at Enva’s Grantham facility, you will be integral to ensuring materials are handled, moved, and stored safely and efficiently. This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift to support essential production, recycling, reuse, and logistics processes. You will collaborate closely with operations teams to meet production targets, uphold safety, quality and environmental standards, and maintain optimal site workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift in compliance with site procedures and legal safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and transport incoming/outgoing materials, finished products, baled waste, containers, and equipment across the Grantham site.
- Supply production/recycling areas with materials while removing waste/products as needed.
- Support warehouse, logistics and dispatch operations to ensure smooth operational flows.
- Segregate and identify stored materials correctly based on company standards.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections, report defects promptly, and enforce safety protocols.
- Assist with stock control and housekeeping, keeping workspaces clean, hazard-free and organised.
- Collaborate with teams to achieve daily production output and throughput targets.
- Strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and security policies; immediate reporting of near misses, hazards or incidents.
- Work flexibly with colleagues, managers, and other departments to maintain operational efficiency.
- Engage in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
- Warrant for full-time, permanent employment in Grantham.
- Available to work across shift patterns (days, afternoons, nights/rotational shifts) as required.
- Overtime opportunities available where required.
Desirable Experience
- Prior forklift operation experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, recycling or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with waste management or materials handling processes.
Physical & Working Environment
- Primarily warehouse, yard and processing facility-based with exposure to:
- Lifting equipment and machinery.
- Noise, dust, vehicle movements and shifting hazards.
