Job Summary

The role of Forklift Driver involves undertaking the safe unloading and distribution of materials, as well as supporting the site team with security, cleanliness, and waste segregation.

Primary Responsibilities
- Undertake the safe unloading and distribution of materials
- Assist the site team with:
- Site security
- Site cleanliness
- Segregation of waste
- Check material quantities
- Stack materials into designated areas, compounds, or containers
- Ensure all pallets are returned to suppliers in a timely manner
- Assist the Site Manager in preparing risk assessments for:
- Material handling
- Lifting operations
- Traffic management
- Complete daily forklift checks, report defects or damage, and arrange necessary rectifications
Requirements
- Hold the appropriate certification/license, including:
- CPCS Rough Terrain Telehandler
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Basic knowledge of building materials
- A strong appreciation and commitment to Health and Safety
- Experience of operating telescopic handlers
