Job Summary: Forklift Driver
At Taylor Wimpey, we are looking to grow our directly employed trade teams. The role of the Forklift Driver involves:
- Undertaking the safe unloading and distribution of materials.
- Assisting the site team with site security, cleanliness, and waste segregation.

Primary Responsibilities
- Undertake the safe unloading and distribution of materials.
- Assist the site team with site security, cleanliness, and waste segregation.
- Checking of material quantities due in and out.
- Stack materials into designated areas, compounds, or containers.
- Ensure all pallets are returned to suppliers on time.
- Support the Site Manager in preparing risk assessments for material handling, lifting operations, and traffic management.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, log necessary report forms, and arrange repairs for any defects or damage.
Experience, Qualifications & Technical Requirements
To apply for this role, you must:
- Hold an appropriate certification (e.g., CPCS Rough Terrain Telehandler or equivalent) and a full UK manual driving licence.
- Have a basic knowledge of building materials.
- Demonstrate a strong appreciation and commitment to Health and Safety.
- Have experience operating telescopic handlers (commonly referred to as rough terrain telehandlers).
