Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday, 07:30 - 14:00 (start & finish times may vary depending on deliveries)
Pay: £14.50 - £15.00 p/hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift / Delivery Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business in Haverhill. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with local and occasional long-distance deliveries, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on warehouse work and being out on the road.
This position offers a 38-hour working week, with any additional hours paid. While most deliveries are completed within the day, there may occasionally be longer journeys of up to four hours each way. There is no overnight work or weekend working.

Forklift / Delivery Driver Duties
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
- Driving a flatbed van to deliver materials and products to customer sites
- Carrying out goods-in and goods-out duties
- Preparing and loading vehicles for upcoming deliveries
- Supporting the warehouse team with stock movement and general warehouse duties
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and professionally
- Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining a clean working environment
Pay, Hours & Benefits
- £14.50 - £15.00 p/hour, depending on experience
- 38-hour working week
- Additional hours paid
- Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30
- Friday, 07:30 - 14:00
- Start times may vary depending on customer delivery requirements
- Permanent opportunities after passing the 3-month probation period

What We're Looking For
- A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
- A valid FLT Counterbalance licence and experience (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Comfortable driving a flatbed van
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Flexible with occasional early starts to meet delivery schedules
