Based at our depot in Northampton
45 hours per week - 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Overtime hours paid at one and a half times basic hourly rate
Opportunity to earn up to an additional £2 per hour through a merit scheme
Who Are Pickerings
Pickerings is a leading supplier of high-quality temporary buildings. We design and supply solutions to a diverse customer base, including schools needing extra classrooms, commercial businesses needing additional office space and construction sites needing a complex of offices and welfare facilities.
The Role
As part of the depot’s operations team, you’ll be the principal operator of a B2 forklift and will be responsible for safe and efficient loading and unloading of our buildings onto delivery vehicles, as well as transferring them between storage and preparation areas. You’ll conduct and record quality checks of our buildings, pre-delivery and upon their return. You’ll also be responsible for checking and replenishment of consumables and supporting the operations team with building preparation and maintenance.

About You
It is essential you hold a valid B2 Forklift licence with previous experience of loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ideally gained in a similar setting.
