The role
Cambridge University Library Storage Facility (LSF), located in Witchford, Ely is looking for 2 enthusiastic and diligent service-orientated people to join its high performing team, providing storage and logistics services to the library community in Cambridge.
As an LSF Forklift Truck Driver Order Picker you will
- Receive and unpack new library material to the LSF.
- Perform the checking, sorting and entering of items on to the online Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Using a variety of manual handling vehicles, including powered pallet trucks, High-Level Order Pickers (HiLOP), you will then file the new material safely into the main warehouse and undertake a picking and restocking.
- Deliver the material to locations in Cambridge to make available to Library users.
- Undertake basic warehouse operations including working at height, cleaning and waste disposal.

What We Are Looking For
- A very high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Careful physical stock handling.
- An enthusiastic and diligent service orientated person, with experience in Warehousing and Logistics.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safe systems of work.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a small team.
