Backed by a multi-billion-dollar global manufacturer, our UK operation is expanding rapidly within the Material Handling Equipment sector. We are investing in our products, people, and market presence to strengthen our position across the UK logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and equipment rental industries.
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Forklift Sales Representative to help accelerate our growth in the UK market.
Your Mission
You will be responsible for developing and growing sales of our forklift and material handling equipment portfolio across your assigned territory. This means:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and equipment rental sectors
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with end users, fleet operators, rental companies, and distribution partners
- Promoting the XCMG forklift and material handling product range to increase market penetration and brand awareness
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to order closure
- Conducting customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and commercial negotiations
- Maintaining accurate sales pipeline and customer records through Salesforce CRM
- Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy while working closely with the wider sales and service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Who You Are
You are already building a successful career within forklifts, material handling equipment, construction machinery, equipment rental, or a related industry.
You bring:
- Proven sales experience within forklifts, material handling equipment, construction equipment, or related sectors
- Strong knowledge of the UK logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or equipment rental markets
- Excellent customer development, relationship management, and commercial negotiation skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong drive to achieve sales targets
- Strong commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK

- Knowledge of industrial and warehouse equipment applications
