Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to sit at the core of enterprise transformation engagements, directly embedding with client teams to:
- Redesign workflows and establish operating models
- Drive technology adoption through AI-powered solutions
- Conduct organizational diagnostics with rapid proof-of-concept development
- Accelerate business adoption and deliver measurable ROI
The ideal candidate is a proactive diagnostician and builder who combines management consulting expertise with the technical capability to ship autonomous, functional prototypes. This is a hands-on, consultative role designed for those who thrive in high-impact, forward-deployed environments.

Responsibilities
- Map current-state workflows end-to-end, identifying root causes of operational friction, including:
- Handoff failures
- Governance gaps
- Tooling mismatches
- Redesign target-state operations for:
- Leaner workflows
- Clearer decision rights
- Effective human-agent collaboration to accelerate throughput using AI-powered solutions
- Design comprehensive operating models, including:
- Organizational structure
- Roles & responsibilities
- Governance frameworks
- Cross-functional interaction models
- Value realization plans
- Establish performance baselines and measurement frameworks to track continuous improvement
- Identify "value gaps" in stalled implementations, diagnosing where technology deployment outpaced business adoption and restoring the path to ROI
- Build working, AI-powered prototypes using:
- LLM APIs
- Platform-native features
- Low-code/no-code environments
- Use working demos and prototypes as the primary tool for stakeholder alignment within the client’s processes
- Evaluate AI’s practical enhancements in workflows vs. distractions, advising clients with grounded expectations
- Support rollouts of new tools and workflows, ensuring adoption is rooted in process design and change management
- Design enablement materials that bridge gaps between technology and the operating model
- Contribute to complex engagement scoping, including:
- Diagnostic assessments for value capture
- Implementation readiness
- Adoption strategy
- Build reusable frameworks and tools to improve practice qualification and scoping
Qualifications & Job Requirements
Key Experience & Skills
- 5 to 10 years of experience in:
- Management consulting
- Equivalent roles in enterprise technology, SaaS, or professional services
- Expertise in at least two of the following:
- Organizational design
- Operating model transformation
- Change management
- Technology enablement
- Process engineering
- Go-to-market execution
- Proven ability to build structured, evidence-based arguments to influence senior stakeholders
- Hands-on AI experience, including:
- Developing AI-powered workflows and automations
- Shipping functional prototypes (not just designing them)
- Ability to rapidly scope and build proofs of concept in client engagements
- Comfort working autonomously without a dedicated engineering team:
- Know when to build independently and when to escalate resources
- Strong diagnostic mindset:
- Focus on root causes before proposing solutions
- Deep accountability to outcomes, not just deliverables
- Bias toward early proof:
- Prefers working prototypes over static roadmaps
- Experience in forward-deployed capacity, integrating with:
- Client engineers
- Product leads
- Operational teams
- Strong background in:
- Large-scale organizational assessments
- Process redesigns
- Large-scale technology rollouts
