Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About Us

It's hard to build a reliable system. It's harder to make sure that what you've built is really reliable.

Synthesized is redefining software testing. Our platform automates test data, test cases, and test environments - empowering enterprise teams to ship faster, reduce compliance risks, and modernise QA at scale.

Our products are used by some of the world's leading organizations, such as Deutsche Bank, UBS, the European Commission, and others.

Weโ€™re an ambitious VC-backed startup, having just gone through Series A with leading global investors including redalpine, IQ Capital, Seedcamp, and Deutsche Bank. We have ambitious growth plans, and we are keen for you to join us on the journey.

The Role

We are hiring a FDE to help customers successfully deploy, validate, and scale their use of the Synthesized platform.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Solutions, and Customer Delivery. You'll be responsible for helping customers implement our products, troubleshooting technical challenges, leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Value (PoVs), and ensuring our releases are validated against real-world customer environments before they reach production.

You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams to bridge the gap between what we build, what we sell, and what our customers need to succeed.

This is a highly hands-on role with significant ownership and visibility across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Delivery & Technical Support

  • Act as a trusted technical partner during onboarding, implementation, and adoption
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and own technical resolution from investigation through to completion
  • Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and deployment challenges
  • Improve customer outcomes by reducing time to value and accelerating successful implementations

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
