Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Becoming a Sandwell foster carer

The approval process to become a foster carer will include pre-approval training and a professional assessment, plus medical and DBS checks.

We are always looking for applicants who are open and flexible about the possibilities of fostering. We work with you to identify the types of fostering that will best suit you and your family. That could be giving a stable family home to a child on a short term or longer-term basis as they grow or working with pre-teenage and secondary school age children.

Of course, we welcome applicants who have the capacity to look after sibling groups or who can offer transferable skills relating to the care of children with challenging behaviour.

Just like every child is different, every foster carer is different, and we’ll work with you to put your skills and previous experience to the best use. But being a foster carer isn’t easy, and we would never pretend that it is. It can be tough, it can be challenging, but we believe that the more you put in, the more you get out, because with fostering the rewards far outweigh the challenges
