I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role
Frive is growing fast, and we're building our organic content presence from the ground up, which means you get to shape it, not inherit it. This is a rare chance to join a business at a genuinely pivotal moment and make organic social yours.
You’ll be working directly with our Founder and CEO, George Taylor. He started Frive in his one-bedroom flat in East London in 2016. Today it’s a £75m business and we’re not even close to our ceiling. George has big plans, huge ambition and strong views on what people should expect from the food they eat—and isn’t afraid to call out the industry when it falls short. Your job is to make sure people hear it.
No red tape, just space to create the kind of content people actually want to watch, and see it land.
Most creator roles are about maintaining what’s already there.
This one isn’t.
You’ll take a founder with a huge vision, a big personality and plenty to say - and build his social presence from zero. The strategy, the formats, the content and the audience are yours to shape.
You’ll own George’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. If you think another platform deserves our attention, go for it. This role is yours to shape.

If you’ve ever wanted to build a founder brand from the ground up, this is your chance.
What you’ll do
- Build George’s brand across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Find the winning formula for Georges content.
- Film, edit and publish content that people actually want to watch.
- Travel with George to events, launches and key moments to capture content as it happens.
- Own performance. Test, learn, iterate and keep pushing until we’ve cracked founder content.
- Do whatever it takes to build a founder brand people can’t ignore.
This role isn’t about maintaining a content calendar. It’s about figuring out what gets attention and doing more of it. It’ll take hustle, instinct and relentless experimentation. But if that’s how you’re wired, you’ll build something from day one that could become genuinely huge.
You
- Deep familiarity with short-form content styles and platform norms across TikTok, Instagram, and beyond.
- In-depth understanding of how to optimise content for engagement on each platform.
- Strong storytelling instincts, and a genuine love of making things people want to watch.
- Comfortable with direct feedback and always looking to improve your craft.
- Quick to adapt as trends and platform behaviours shift - you're rarely playing catch-up.
