Senior Social Media Content Strategist (Google Ads Agency)

Paired, a global staffing and recruiting agency specialising in pairing remote work with top-tier talent, is excited to partner with a fastest-growing Google Ads agency looking to expand its high-impact content team.

Our client is redefining performance marketing success. With nine-figure annual ad spend across 180+ eCommerce and DTC brands, they operate at the frontiers of Google’s beta/alpha features and leaderboard’s preferences—delivering results that command industry-wide attention.

Their agency’s rapid growth is built on exceptional work quality, unswerving client retention, and a team deeply committed to impact. Now, they’re scaling at the shoulders of some of the most high-performing operators in digital marketing.


About the Role

This is the most impactful creative investment the team will make. The voice is already defined—uniquely Jem’s vision, documented and meticulous. The role cradles two critical functions:

  • First, scale and amplify content at volume across LinkedIn and Twitter across every imaginable content pillar: Google Ads, direct response thought leadership, ecommerce operations, agency building, business-led philosophy, plus the founder’s growing personal brand.

  • Second, execute with instinct—not just to serialise but to predict what rises from the noise, shape the next strategic shift forward, then deliver it better than the founder could on their own.

What’s Expected

This isn’t a content calendar or AI prompt role. It’s for a writer who builds the brief, spearheads slants, and executes with consistency impeccable to voice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Script LinkedIn/Twitter in 100% Jem’s voice across these pillars:
    • Google Ads & direct response
    • DTC founder / operator empathy
    • Agency as culture
    • Human philosophy (how success happens)
  • Pen Instagram video scripts and transition into even greater formats.
  • Collaborate directly with the founder to morph his strategy—not just execute a pre-constituted plan.
  • Be the detective on what feeds, funds, or fuels sentiment shifts: move fast, ingest relentlessly before the bubble catches up.
  • Join the core content team to maintain cohesion of tone AND pace—No cheap completions, ever.
  • Select, rewrite, and experiment relentlessly in ways that demonstrate intuitive mastery of platforms, voice and business realities.
  • Ghostwrite when absorbed—this is not a scribe; it’s the voice made authoritative.
  • Write confidently on Google Ads’s most-affected topics—or handle it fast enough to become synced one.
  • Portfolio test required. Impact, volume, granularity.
