Founder's Associate

BuildPrompt | Full-time | Office-based - hybrid, London

About BuildPrompt

BuildPrompt is an agentic AI platform built for AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations). We turn fragmented, data-heavy project data into evidenced, auditable intelligence, with every finding cited back to its source.

We already work with some of the most demanding organisations in the built environment, from national infrastructure programmes to global operators, and we are entering a critical growth phase. We are a lean, fast-moving team, which means the work you do here is visible and it matters from day one.

We have also started expanding use cases to other sectors via channel partners, including insurance and financial services.

The role

This is a high-trust, high-impact role working directly alongside the CEO and Head of Operations. Think of it as a force multiplier: you take work off the founders' plates, drive initiatives to completion, and keep the business moving so they can focus on the highest-value problems.

It is broad by design. One week you might be tightening the weekly operating rhythm and chasing actions across the team; the next you might be pulling together an investor pack, researching a sales prospect, or owning a project end to end. You will see how an early-stage company really works, across fundraising, sales, product and operations, and you will carry real responsibility from the start.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

It suits someone proactive who takes ownership without being chased, thrives on variety, and wants genuine responsibility early. For the right person this is a launchpad. A Founder's Associate role is often the step before a Chief of Staff or operating leadership position as the company scales.

What you'll do

  • Keep the business moving. Track actions and decisions across the team, follow up with owners, and make sure commitments land on time. Nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
  • Run the weekly rhythm. Prepare agendas, capture actions, assign ownership and set a clear plan for the week, so meetings turn into progress.
  • Own communication follow-through. Make sure client, partner and internal messages are answered promptly by the right people, routing and chasing as needed.
  • Support fundraising. Help prepare investor materials, keep the data room and pipeline tidy, and chase follow-ups so momentum is never lost.
  • Support sales and growth. Keep our CRM accurate, research prospects, prepare proposals and demo materials, and pick up sales support tasks as they come up.
  • Take on projects. Run the research, analysis and one-off initiatives the founders need driven, and see them through to completion with minimal hand-holding.

What we're looking for

  • Some relevant experience and the ability to hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding.
  • Exceptional organisation and follow-through. You naturally chase things to completion.
  • Strong, clear written and verbal communication.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, is comfortable with ambiguity, and has sound judgement on what matters most.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where priorities shift and you wear many hats.
  • Confident with everyday tools (CRM, spreadsheets, AI tools) and quick to pick up new ones.
  • Resourceful and resilient, with the confidence to flag problems early and propose solutions.
