Founding AI Engineer — LEC AI

We're building the AI stack the next generation of businesses will run on. Not a lab. Not a wrapper. Not a consultancy. An operating company that intends to be one of the biggest players in this space.

London. In person. Fast paced. Real building.

We have Bishop, a foundation model for tabular data. Prices, inventory, transactions, time series, event streams. The data businesses actually run on rather than language.

On top of Bishop we're building Donnie, an executive cognitive model. Persistent memory across multiple tiers. Multi agent orchestration. Hierarchy layers above the agents. Digital twins of the operations Donnie reasons over. Live tool use across every system a business runs. Donnie is already deployed inside our operating businesses today with real data flowing through it.

Around Bishop and Donnie we're building companies. Predictive arbitrage on global collectibles resale platforms. Sports prediction markets for World Cup 2026. Energy and carbon derivatives trading. Credit, insurance and lending risk pricing. Bishop Studio, our SaaS product that puts Bishop and Donnie inside any SME.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we want:

  • You currently ship production AI at a top lab, top scaleup, or top quant fund. Anthropic, DeepMind, OpenAI, Meta AI, ByteDance, a Millennium pod, a serious AI startup that has actually shipped.
  • Your GitHub commit graph is a resume in itself.
  • You have taken something from zero to production with real users and real revenue.
  • You are hungry. You want to build, ship, own. You are done contributing your best work to a large collective effort that ships something with someone else's name on it.
