About The Role
We're looking for an exceptional AI Systems Engineer who thrives on ownership, speed, and solving difficult engineering problems.
You'll design and build the core systems powering millions of AI-driven customer conversations while working alongside a highly technical team that values experimentation, rapid execution, and real business impact over bureaucracy.
This isn't a role where you'll simply implement tickets, you'll own projects from idea to production, influence technical direction, and help shape the future of AI-powered customer interactions.
What You'll Do
- Build scalable, reliable backend systems supporting millions of AI conversations
- Own critical infrastructure powering AI agents in production
- Evaluate, benchmark, and improve modern AI and voice models
- Design distributed systems capable of operating at massive scale
- Solve challenging infrastructure, latency, and reliability problems
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to deliver customer impact
- Take projects from idea through production deployment with full ownership
- Continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and AI capabilities

What We're Looking For
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience building distributed, production-grade systems
- Excellent problem-solving and systems thinking
- High ownership with a strong bias for action
- Comfortable working in highly ambiguous environments
- Customer and business outcome mindset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Voice AI, LLMs, or Generative AI
- TypeScript and/or Python experience
- High-growth startup experience
- Experience building AI infrastructure or AI-powered products
- Entrepreneurial background, side projects, or hackathon experience
