Founding API GTM

About VEED

At VEED, we're a generative AI company building the AI video creation platform made for social. It's where millions of marketers imagine and generate branded videos, in minutes.

We’re powered by frontier models and VEED Fabric, our own image-to-video model. Our APIs also run AI video inside leading creative products.

We’re 150 people, $50M ARR, backed by Sequoia. We're hiring. Come help us make AI videos worth posting.

Where And How We Work

At VEED, we're hybrid, enabling teams and individuals to design their day and integrate work and life.

For our London and Amsterdam-based teammates, we ask that you spend 3 days a week in the office during your first 6 months — it’s the best way to connect, collaborate, and get to know your team. After that, you’ll shift to 1 day a week in the office, with flexibility to choose the day that suits you best.

About The Role

VEED recently started building its own AI models, sold through API, and the traction has been HUGE. Our Fabric image-to-video lipsync model is already the model of choice for industry leaders like ElevenLabs, Freepik, and many more. It's distributed through marketplaces like fal.ai and Runware.

We're about to launch our own API platform, and as such, we’re now looking for our Founding API GTM to be the first dedicated seller in our API business — the person who turns inbound buzz and a world-class model into booked, recurring revenue, and who builds the commercial playbook the rest of the API sales org will run on.

This is a 0→1 commercial role. You'll:

  • Own the number for a brand-new line of business.
  • Sell a technical product to technical buyers.
  • Have a direct hand in shaping pricing, ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), and go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Build VEED’s roadmap toward serving AI video infrastructure and agentic products directly to developers.

We’re an AI-first business, and we expect this role to be too. The role involves:

  • Building an outbound motion powered by AI agents, not headcount.
  • Prototyping your own demos rather than waiting in an engineering queue.
  • Expecting No two days to be the same, and almost nothing is built yet.

You'll work alongside our Research Engineers and Product leadership and will report to VEED’s COO, who runs the API business.

What You'll Do

  • Own the API revenue number: Build and run the full sales cycle—prospecting, qualification, technical demos, commercial negotiation, and closing. You are the first and sole quota-carrier for the API business.
  • Run an AI-first outbound machine: Build and operate an agentic prospecting and research motion using AI for sourcing, qualification, personalization, and follow-ups—achieving a scale normally managed by a team.
  • Vibe-code your own demos: Prototype working integrations and bespoke demos using Cursor, Claude, or Lovable against a prospect's actual use case, without waiting on engineering.
  • Build the playbook: Define and document the sales motion, qualification criteria, pricing and packaging upgrades, and repeatable processes for the rest of the API sales team.
  • Sell to technical buyers working with AI platforms, creative tools, and "engine-builders" (including dubbing, UGC, avatar, and e-learning companies).
  • Be the voice of the customer: Drive feedback from your outreach on usage, revenue, and qualitative insight back to research, product, and leadership to shape what we build and how we price it.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for closures: Work with Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Core Business Sales, Customer Success, and Legal to close deals and transition customers to live services.
  • Help set the commercial vision: Partner with the GM to determine ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), forecasting, and the revenue growth path from first dollar to market expansion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Bring

  • Proven 0→1 experience: You’ve carried a quota consistently and exceeded its targets, especially as an early or founding seller who built processes from nothing. Former founders or future founders are highly encouraged to apply.
  • AI-first mindset: You use AI tools for work — research, outbound activities, and preparation — and are excited to push boundaries in automating your workflows. An AI afficionado who sells advancements in AI both personally and professionally.
  • Technical expertise with practicality: You can read API documentation and wire up quick integrations, experimenting with tools like Cursor, Claude, or Lovable. You can also understand technical discussions about latency, model capabilities, and developer workflows. You're quick to learn the AI and GPU landscape though you don’t need deep engineering experience — you need to demonstrate tech-savviness that enables you to gain engineering trust rather than be clogged by engineering resources.
  • Commercial and quantitative agility: You think in terms of pipeline, unit economics, and revenue impact, and structure creative deals in a market with no fixed playbook.
  • Versatility: You transition seamlessly from preparing robust contracts with sophisticated buyers to explaining the value of VEED’s solutions during non-technical conversations, such as with celebrity figures or conference attendees.
  • Dirt-and-rigorous approach: Finding no task too small, you’ll build your own prospect lists, draft your own materials, and chase your contracts. Ownership-driven and execution-focused, you thrive inSpecifically, this speaks to those who work across high-level strategy and daily execution, regardless of delegating responsibilities.
  • Bias to action: Moving quickly, operating under ambiguity, shipping iterations, and implementing fast wins - rather than waiting for a “perfect” plan.
