Job Description

Join a well-funded startup as Founding CTO to build advanced ML/AI systems for automated security research and threat detection. You will design agentic risk management platforms that reason about complex adversary behavior in real time. This is a ground-floor opportunity to own the technical roadmap and shape the engineering culture from day zero.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • True co-founder status with significant equity ownership and the ability to define the core technology and product strategy.
  • Work alongside an experienced founder with deep enterprise deployment history, ensuring the product addresses real-world security challenges.
  • Tackle high-impact problems by building agentic AI systems that move beyond pattern matching to sophisticated, context-aware reasoning.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of the core ML/AI architecture, building high-performance systems capable of real-time threat modeling.
  • Act as the primary technical contributor, writing production-grade code while setting long-term engineering standards and culture.
  • Translate complex security research and adversary behaviors into scalable AI agents that help enterprise teams manage risk more effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

An AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Jack's network, making an introduction when I spot an excellent candidate.

How does this work?

  • Jack's an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. He works for you.
  • Jill is the AI recruiter working for the company. She recruits from Jack's network.
  • If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Jack will send you excellent alternatives.

We never post fake jobs

This isn't a trick. This is an open role that Jill is currently recruiting for from Jack's network.

Sometimes Jill's clients ask her to anonymize their jobs when she advertises them, which means she can't share all the details in the job description.

We appreciate this can make them look a bit suspect, but there isn't much we can do about it.
