About the Role

Most startup jobs ask you to join a company. This one asks you to help build it.

At LumosAI we're creating a new way for organisations to understand why performance happens, not just what happened, using knowledge graphs, AI and causal reasoning.

We're looking for our first Customer Implementation Founder.

Someone who enjoys working with customers, translating complex organisations into practical solutions, and wants to help shape the product as much as implement it. You'll be working directly with customers, influencing the roadmap, and becoming one of the people who defines how LumosAI is delivered.

Why Join?

Work directly with founder Andrew Mercer, who has:

  • Built and sold a software company to Oracle.
  • Developed one of London's largest renewable energy generators.
  • Led the development of Google's first zero-carbon data centre in the UK.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
