Founding Demand Generation Lead (GTM Engineer) - B2B SaaS
Location: London W1 | Schedule: 3-4 days in-office / 1 day WFH
Salary: To £80,000 + 10% performance bonus + equity
A well-funded, early-stage AI company building the next generation of client relationship management for enterprise professional services firms is hiring its first dedicated growth hire.
Product-market fit is established. The demand engine is not yet built. That's the job.
You'll own one number: qualified demos and trials delivered to sales each month. Everything else is in service of that.
This is a builder role, not a management role.
You'll design and run an AI-native, surround-sound demand system that puts the product in front of the right people across every channel they live in - orchestrated outbound and signal-driven targeting through Clay, Apollo, HeyReach and Amplemarket, amplified by paid on LinkedIn and Google, fed by creative activations that make a Head of Client Services actually want a demo.
What you'll own
- Build and run multi-channel demand programmes: LinkedIn outreach via HeyReach, enrichment and list-building in Clay, sequencing through Apollo or Amplemarket - so a target account sees the product from three directions before sales ever calls.
- Build the signal layer that makes it smarter: intent data, website visits, content engagement and hiring triggers wired into HubSpot so every programme improves with each cycle.
- Design the AI infrastructure underneath it: automated enrichment, personalisation at scale, workflow triggers and agents that handle the repetitive work so your time goes on judgement.
- Run paid as amplification, not foundation: LinkedIn and Google surrounding the same accounts your outbound is working, with a quarterly budget you own and report on by cost-per-demo.
- Close the loop with sales daily: lead quality, targeting sharpness and what's converting to pipeline, reviewed and adjusted continuously.
- Own the numbers: attribution, funnel dashboards and weekly reporting from impressions to demos to pipeline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You're a fit if you
- Can walk through a demand programme you personally built: the channels, the tooling, and the pipeline it generated - without checking your notes.
- Think in systems: when a play works your instinct is to automate and scale it, not run it again by hand.
- Are fluent across a modern GTM stack: Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, HubSpot or close equivalents - and wire tools together rather than waiting for someone else to.
- Have real paid media competence alongside your outbound work: LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads with genuine budget ownership.
- Have 4+ years in growth or demand gen, ideally B2B SaaS, in teams small enough that you did the work yourself.

NB. This probably isn't for you if
- Paid media is your primary strength and outbound or signal-driven programmes are unfamiliar territory.
- You can build elegant GTM systems but can't point to the pipeline/ROI they generated.
- Your background is brand, comms or PR rather than direct-response and pipeline generation.
- You prefer to set strategy and have others execute.
Why join
- Own the entire demand function from day one with direct access to the founders.
- Build an AI-native GTM motion from scratch at an AI company with the freedom to test any channel that moves the needle.
- Meaningful equity as an early hire.
- High autonomy over channel strategy and budget allocation.
- Work at the forefront of how AI-agent products are taken to market.
