DevSecOps Engineer

£100,000 – £120,000

Hybrid in Cambridge, England (2-3 days a week)

I'm partnered with an ambitious AI FinTech startup that's building the world's smartest personal financial advisor. An AI that doesn't just understand your money, but can actively help you make better financial decisions.

Having completed their Alpha platform and secured significant new investment alongside leading angel investors, they're now entering one of the most exciting stages of the business.

They're looking for their first dedicated DevSecOps Engineer to build the security and infrastructure foundations that will allow the platform to scale to millions of users.

The Role

You'll become the technical owner of platform security across the entire Engineering organisation, designing secure systems from the ground up whilst enabling their Product Engineers to move quickly and safely.

You'll work across cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, CI/CD, identity, secrets management, AI systems and customer data protection.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
