Build the platform that replaces spreadsheets for how engineering organisations plan, measure and attribute the cost of work, human and AI.

We're not able to sponsor visas right now. You'll need to be based in the UK with the right to work here.

The role

You'll work full stack, shipping features that solve real problems for engineering leaders. This isn't a "build to spec" role. You'll talk directly to customers, shape what we build and own your work end-to-end.

We don't have product managers. Customers and engineering set the direction and make the product decisions. Our product is already evolved, but there's plenty of room to shape where it goes next.

You'll be based in our central London office, working alongside the founding team. Most of us are in most of the week. We value proximity for the speed it brings to decision-making and collaboration.

The profile

You are an ex-founder or an engineer who moves fast and thrives in ambiguity. You've built things from scratch and know what it takes to ship.

You're commercially minded, technically curious and comfortable making decisions without waiting for permission. You simplify complex systems. We're dealing with financial modelling, data pipelines and ML, so you enjoy untangling gnarly problems and making them feel simple.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Flowstate

Flowstate is the Workforce Engineering platform. We help organisations measure, optimise and recover the full value of their workforce, human and AI. Every cost attributed to teams, projects and outcomes in real time. Every decision faster.

We're backed by a16z Scout Fund, Ventures Together, Haatch and Openseed. We're a small team of ex-founders who believe the way companies plan and measure the cost of work is about to change completely. We're building the system that makes it happen.

We don't do sprints or planning cycles. We figure out what needs to happen, plan it, and execute in days not months. No product managers. No layers. Everyone talks to customers. Everyone owns outcomes.

We work from our central London office. Life happens and we're flexible when it does, but we believe the best ideation and collaboration come from sharing the same walls.
