Job Description
As a Founding Engineer at 1Deploy, you will own the end-to-end architecture for AI agents that run enterprise operations on autopilot. Working directly with 2x exited founders, you’ll build agent harnesses, deployment infrastructure, and logic for real-world applications in logistics and transportation. This is a 0-1 role for autonomous builders.

What You Will Do
- Design and implement production-grade AI agent systems including harnesses, evaluation frameworks, and deployment infrastructure using Python and FastAPI.
- Ship features and architectural improvements directly to enterprise customers in the logistics and transportation sectors to drive immediate operational impact.
- Collaborate with founders to define the technical roadmap and make critical architectural decisions that shape the future of the platform.

The ideal candidate
- Demonstrates professional mastery of agentic coding tools like Claude Code and has built custom harnesses or MCP servers to optimize workflows.
- Possesses deep experience in backend systems development, specifically with Python and FastAPI, while maintaining the ability to wire up frontend components.
- Thrives in high-autonomy environments with a strong bias for action, preferring to ship functional iterations today rather than waiting for perfection.
