Company Description
Appnigma AI is an early-stage, founder-led platform enabling ISVs and product teams to build complex Salesforce and HubSpot managed packages using production-grade AI agents.
Job Description
Join Appnigma AI as a Founding Engineer to lead our platform’s core architecture. You will own everything from AWS infrastructure and multi-tenant security to LLM agent runtimes. This is a high-autonomy role for a distributed systems expert who thrives in "founder-mode," shipping mission-critical code without the need for extensive ticket queues or rituals.

Why this role is remarkable
- True founding influence: Work as a technical peer to the founders, owning major workstreams like self-serve shared infrastructure and encryption-at-rest design without needing a second opinion.
- Cutting-edge AI at scale: Ship production LLM agents using tool-use loops and sandboxed execution, moving beyond simple RAG demos into real agentic workflows using the Claude Agent SDK.
- High-stakes engineering: Tackle complex multi-tenant isolation and security challenges where protecting secrets between ISV tenants is a core engineering concern, not a hypothetical.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
- Architect and maintain robust AWS infrastructure using Terraform, managing ECS Fargate, RDS, Secrets Manager, and KMS to ensure total tenant isolation.
- Develop and optimize the LLM agent runtime, implementing tool-use loops and sandboxed execution environments to power intelligent Salesforce and HubSpot integrations.
- Lead end-to-end feature delivery, spanning from complex backend OAuth2/webhook integrations to shipping frontend React features that enable a seamless developer experience.
The ideal candidate
- At least 5 years of production TypeScript/Node experience in distributed systems, with deep knowledge of idempotency, retries, and comparing queue workers like pg-boss versus SQS.
- Proven expertise in multi-tenant SaaS security, specifically managing secret isolation and encryption-at-rest in environments where cross-tenant data leaks are a zero-tolerance risk.
- Fluent in AWS and Terraform with a "founder-mode" mindset, capable of turning high-level plans into production code independently while writing concise, decision-shaped design documentation.
