About the opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on lead developer / founding engineer to help build a new AI-powered PR and communications venture created as a joint venture between Foundermatcha and brazil™, a long-established PR, social media and content agency.
This is currently an equity-only opportunity, with meaningful equity for the right person and a clear path to grow into a CTO / technical co-founder role if the collaboration works. The right candidate will not just write code. You will help shape the product, make early architecture decisions, work directly with the founders, and turn an early concept into a working product that can be tested with real startup customers.
About the new startup
A new startup is being built to help early-stage startups access affordable, AI-powered PR and communications support. The idea is simple: most early-stage founders need help telling their story, building credibility, and getting attention, but traditional PR is often too expensive, too manual, and too inaccessible. This new venture combines:
- brazil™’s PR, content and communications expertise
- Foundermatcha’s startup founder network
- AI-powered conversational onboarding and agentic workflows
- A practical product aimed at helping startups communicate better, faster, and more affordably

About Foundermatcha
Foundermatcha helps ambitious founders find engineers, founding developers and potential CTOs, not just based on technical skill, but also on personality, mission, working style and startup fit. We are building an AI-led matchmaking platform for early-stage startup team formation. Our community includes founders, engineers and technical co-founder candidates across different industries and stages. Even if this specific opportunity is not the right fit, strong applicants may be invited into the broader Foundermatcha candidate pool and considered for other founder-led opportunities.
What you’ll build
You will help turn concept into a working MVP by adapting and extending an existing AI/conversational technology stack. The first version will likely involve:
- Conversational onboarding for startup founders
- AI-assisted extraction of a company’s story, positioning, audience and goals
- PR/content workflow generation
- Founder-facing outputs such as press angles, founder story drafts, media briefs, campaign ideas and content prompts
- Admin tooling for reviewing, editing and improving AI-generated outputs
- Integration with existing Foundermatcha infrastructure where useful
- A product path that can eventually become its own standalone platform
This is a build-fast, test-fast, learn-fast environment. We are not looking for someone who needs a perfect spec before starting. We are looking for someone who can work with ambiguity and turn a product vision into something real.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is:
- Located in London and able to meet with the team in-person at least once a week.
- A hands-on builder, not just a manager
- Strong enough technically to lead early architecture decisions
- Comfortable working across frontend, backend and AI workflow logic
- Interested in AI agents, conversational interfaces and LLM-based products
- Able to work with an existing codebase rather than starting from scratch
- Entrepreneurial, independent and commercially aware
- Comfortable with an equity-only arrangement at this stage

You do not need to be perfect across every part of the stack, but you should be strong enough to take ownership, learn quickly, and make sensible technical decisions.
Particularly useful experience
Strong candidates may have experience with:
- Flutter / Dart mobile development
- Firebase / Firestore
- Python backends
- Flask, SocketIO or WebSocket-based systems
- OpenAI APIs, realtime voice, agents or LangGraph
- Building MVPs in early-stage startups
- AI products, content tools, workflow automation or SaaS
- Working directly with non-technical or semi-technical founders
- Turning vague product ideas into usable product flows
The deal
This is currently an equity-only opportunity. We are not pretending otherwise. There is no salary at this stage. However, for the right person, this is an opportunity to join at the beginning of a serious venture with:
