About the role
As Founding Engineer on the Deeper Engagement team, you will define the technical architecture that makes this possible. You will own the decisions that shape how Healf connects wearable data, behavioural signals, and personalised engagement at scale. This is a 0-to-1 role with direct access to the CTO and founder.

What You Will Do
- Define and build: the technical architecture for the Deeper Engagement team from the ground up
- Own: wearable data integrations, backend APIs, and the mobile experience end-to-end
- Make the hard infrastructure decisions: stack, data model, and system design choices that will shape the product for years
- Partner with: product and the CTO to translate the engagement vision into a production system that improves continuously
- Set the standard: for how the team builds, ships, and iterates as it grows
What We Are Looking For
- 0-to-1 experience: you have built something meaningful from scratch and understand what that demands
- Strong Python backend engineering
- React Native or equivalent mobile development experience
- High ownership: when a problem is yours, you see it through completely
- Comfort with ambiguity — you can work from a vision rather than a detailed spec

Nice to Have
- Wearable or health data integration experience with devices like Oura, Whoop, or Garmin
- Consumer health, fitness tech, or habit-forming mobile product background
- Experience building systems that personalise based on biometric or behavioural data
