Dex Overview

Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.

The Role

A profitable, bootstrapped platform founded in 2024 has tripled revenue in recent months, serving hundreds of thousands of end users through its creator tools. They give content creators the building blocks to launch their own branded membership products, from content hosting and payments to growth tools and AI features tailored to their vertical.

This is the first engineering hire, working directly with the technical co-founder to lead the agentic and AI-powered side of the platform. You'll own features end-to-end, from concept to shipping, often within a day, directly impacting hundreds of thousands of users. This isn't a ticket-taker role on a large team; it's a rare seat to build a new "creator operating system" with high autonomy and immediate impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Work

  • Engage directly with creators to understand needs, then rapidly prototype and ship solutions to a platform serving 400,000+ users.
  • Drive the technical direction and implementation of a new "creator operating system" using modern AI tools.
  • Operate across the full stack (Next.js, Node, Postgres, Stripe, AWS), ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

What You Bring

  • Fluency across the full stack: Next.js, Node, Postgres, Stripe, AWS.
