The role
Multi-agent AI systems are exploding. But the foundational shared-state infrastructure they need to run reliably in production? Largely unsolved. This company is building that layer: sub-80ms retrieval with ACL-gated state, enabling agents across LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and custom frameworks to coordinate without stepping on each other. This is core infrastructure for a category that's just getting started.
This is a Founding Engineer seat. You'll own the core retrieval and state system end-to-end: performance, consistency, access control, and the SDK surface. You'll work in person with the founding team, setting the technical direction and shipping the integrations that bring the first production users on. This isn't a role about incremental improvements; it's about making the foundational infrastructure, API, and operational decisions that will define the company for years.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The work
Design and build the core shared-state system, targeting sub-80ms retrieval for multi-agent coordination. Define and implement access control, consistency models, and multi-tenancy for production reliability. Own the SDK surface and API design, ensuring seamless integration with agent frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen. Make foundational infrastructure, data model, and operational posture decisions that will scale for years. Ship the first integrations and support early production users directly.
What You Bring
You've built low-latency distributed systems in production, with credible experience achieving sub-100ms retrieval at scale. You understand access control, multi-tenancy, and the operational realities of shared-state systems beyond the happy path. You've worked with or integrated against modern agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) and know their current pain points. You're a builder: comfortable with ambiguity, owning a surface end-to-end from design through production support. You are excited to work in-person daily with a small founding team in Canary Wharf, London.
