This isn’t a standard engineering leadership role. It’s blue-sky architecting for a next-generation wellbeing intelligence platform. Are you the principal engineer from a Series B health-tech company who’s stayed disciplined through ambiguity? Or the founding engineer from consumer tech—ready to abandon maintenance mode? We want these people.
What You’ll Own
Strategic Ownership
- The architecture: Design the full wellbeing intelligence stack (backend, data, ML, adaptive infrastructure) from first principles. Decisions made now define year-three reality.
- Build vs. Buy decisions: Drive platform growth without overbuilding—your authority and hard-won context matter.
- Engineering principles: Not style guides. Fundamental givens shaping long-term quality, velocity, and impact. Your judgment is the templating standard.
- Technical strategy: Partner directly with the CTO, not advise them. Autonomy over the intelligence layer and its product platform.
- The team: Build the high-talent nucleus that scales. Every engineer you hire raises the floor—and changes trajectories.
