Job Description
As the first engineering hire at GETPYTHIA LIMITEDPy, you will own the entire technical stack and architecture for an AI-native strategic finance platform. You'll build production-ready agents and data pipelines, transitioning the current v1 product into a scalable infrastructure that replaces high-cost headcount with sophisticated, reliable software automation.

What You Will Do
- Design and maintain production-grade AI agents and LLM-powered systems using Python and TypeScript to handle complex financial modeling and analysis tasks.
- Take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from initial architecture decisions and infrastructure setup to iterating on features based on direct feedback from design partners.
- Develop a robust evaluation layer that ensures the rigor and governance required for financial data while leveraging the speed and insights of generative AI.
The ideal candidate
- 3-10 years of experience with a background combining the technical rigor of BigTech (Google, Meta, Stripe) with the rapid iteration and adaptability of an early-stage startup environment.
- Proven track record of building and shipping production AI systems, with deep expertise in Python, TypeScript, and the development of sophisticated autonomous agents.
- Exceptional ability to manage large datasets and complex information flows, ideally within the finance or fintech domain, while maintaining a high velocity of delivery.
