About the company:
This is the technical arm of a new VC-backing startups that use protocols like Bittensor to gain an edge over traditional AI companies.
About the role:
First technical hire, and the most senior. They will own the entire technical stack: subnet analytics products, research and due-diligence tooling, on-chain data pipelines, and infrastructure monitoring. They set the engineering bar and hire the team behind them over the next 12 months. Direct daily work with the founders.

Job Requirement:
- 10+ years backend / ML systems experience; has shipped real products to production
- Strong Python; Rust or CUDA a bonus
- Genuine ML engineering experience - trained or served models, optimised inference (vLLM, SGLang or similar)
- Solid distributed-systems footing: Kubernetes, observability, real production failure experience
- Crypto / on-chain fluency, or the curiosity to ramp very fast - hands-on Bittensor experience is a major plus
- Founding-engineer mentality: ownership, ambiguity tolerance, builds without a spec
