🚨 Founding FDE/Solutions Lead – Insurance AI 🚨
Location: London / Hybrid (3 days/week in the City) Compensation: £110k–£150k + Equity
A fast-growing, well-funded AI startup—backed by top-tier investors—is seeking a Founding FDE/Solutions Lead (Client Delivery/Solutions Lead) based in London.
You will be the first hire in London, owning the full customer journey from pre-sales through implementation, while shaping the product roadmap for the UK & EMEA Insurance Market.
This is a high-impact 0-to-1 opportunity for a go-getter who thrives at the intersection of insurance domain expertise, customer delivery, and product thinking—someone eager to build from scratch.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
- Support sales alongside Account Executives (AEs) by designing demos, pitches, and driving deal acceleration
- Own end-to-end implementation—from discovery to post-go-live—for London Market carriers, MGAs, and brokers
- Act as the insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME), translating real-world workflows into technical requirements and advising the CTO & engineering team
- Shape the UK/EMEA product roadmap, identifying opportunities to adapt US solutions for the London Market
- Set cultural foundations as a founding team member and build a scalable playbook for a future team of ~20 people over 12–18 months

🎯 Essential Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) or London Market insurance (underwriting, claims, operations, or consulting)
- Proven track record owning complex enterprise implementations or technical deployments—not just pre-sales
- Ability to bridge between customers (policy definition, demos, workshops) and engineering teams (product development)
- Experienced with AI tools for prototyping & workflow analysis
- High-energy, low-ego problem solver—ambiguity thrive-you-rise types!
- UK right to work (no sponsorship available)
- Based in London, with ability to work hybrid (3 days/week in City) and travel across the UK/Europe
