🚀 Founding Forward Deployed Engineer | £90,000 to £110,000 + Equity | London (Hybrid)
I'm working exclusively with an ambitious AI startup that's looking to hire its Founding Forward Deployed Engineer.
This is a rare opportunity to join as one of the first engineering hires, working directly with the founders to build AI-powered products that solve complex operational challenges for enterprise customers.
This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a backlog. You'll work closely with customers, understand how they operate, identify opportunities for automation, and build software that delivers immediate business value.

What you'll be doing
- Building core product capabilities from the ground up
- Designing AI-powered workflows and automation tools
- Partnering directly with customers to solve real-world problems
- Developing dashboards, internal platforms and integrations
- Shaping technical architecture and product direction from day one
- Helping scale engineering as the company grows
Tech Stack
- Modern full stack development
- TypeScript
- AI / LLM-powered applications
- Cloud-native architecture
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of full stack software engineering experience
- Strong experience building modern web applications
- Experience delivering AI-enabled products or workflow automation
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys taking ownership
