About TeachClaw
TeachClaw is building an AI operating layer for teachers; starting with the repetitive marking, planning and admin work that drains their time.
We’re early, moving quickly and already working directly with UK teachers to shape the product. This isn’t a polished corporate environment with five layers of approval. You’ll work directly with the founder, speak to users and help determine how TeachClaw reaches its first teachers, departments and schools.
The Role
We’re looking for a Founding Growth Lead to own the journey from early teacher adoption to repeatable school growth.
You’ll find where teachers actually gather, speak to them, sharpen our positioning and build acquisition systems that produce real usage; not vanity metrics. You’ll work across community, content, outbound, partnerships and sales, doubling down on what works and killing what doesn’t.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is a hands-on founding role. You’ll help shape company strategy, but you’ll also send the messages, run the experiments and close the first customers.
What You’ll Own
- Acquire and onboard teachers, departments and schools.
- Build relationships inside UK teacher communities.
- Turn teacher feedback and usage into sharper messaging.
- Test content, outbound, partnerships and referral loops.
- Build the first repeatable pipeline from interest to paid adoption.
- Measure activation, retention and revenue; not impressions for their own sake.
You Might Be a Fit If
- You’re commercially sharp and comfortable selling from zero.
- You can turn conversations into insight, and insight into action.
- You write clearly and understand how communities build trust.
- You move without waiting for a perfect brief.
- You’re analytical but don’t hide behind dashboards.
- Experience in education, SaaS or early-stage growth helps, but evidence that you can execute matters more than credentials.
