About Ako
Ako is an AI teammate that lives in Slack, WhatsApp, and email completing real work end-to-end. Ako is helping teams by embedding itself into an organisation and helping with tasks like sales, marketing or operations. We have customers across manufacturing, construction and ecommerce. We’re a small team, moving fast where everyone operates with high ownership.
The Role
We're hiring one person to help with two things that are deeply connected: getting new customers in the door, and making sure they actually succeed once they're in. You'll run outbound experiments to generate pipeline, and then sit hands-on with customers to implement Ako into their workflows. You will work closely with the founder but are expected to move independently and fast.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is not a role for someone who wants a clear playbook.
What you'll do
- Design and run outbound experiments (channels, messaging, targeting) to generate qualified conversations with CEOs/MDs at target companies
- Own the full funnel from first outreach to signed customer
- Scope problems with customers and help implement Ako for them
- Monitor customer accounts and help them grow into other use cases
- Report what's working and what isn't, and kill experiments fast when they don't
What we're looking for
- Fast and scrappy over polished or experienced. You have a bias for action
- Genuinely AI-native: you’re excited about solving problems using AI tools. We’ll give you access to any tool that helps.
- Loves talking to customers: energised by calls and conversations, not drained by them
- Comfortable with ambiguity and no fixed process
- Startup experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Any educational background or degree is fine. We care about output, not credentials.

Hiring process
We do a paid work trial as part of our process. You'll work on real Ako problems for a short period before any final decision, and you'll be paid for that time.
Why this role
You'll effectively be helping build the GTM motion for an early-stage AI startup from scratch, with direct access to the founder and real ownership over outcomes.
