Founding Marketing & Social Media Intern (Volunteer)
Location: Remote (UK preferred, open worldwide)
Commitment: 5–10 hours per week (Flexible)
Duration: 3–6 months
About AMKA
AMKA is a premium combat sports brand redefining the future of MMA equipment. Inspired by brands such as Apple, Aston Martin and Porsche Design, we're building a luxury combat sports brand where performance meets premium design. This is an opportunity to join the business from day one and play a key role in helping build a global brand.
About the Role
We're looking for a creative and ambitious marketing intern who understands the power of storytelling through social media. This role is ideal for someone who wants real responsibility and the opportunity to help shape the voice, identity and growth of an exciting startup. You'll work directly with the founder to create content, develop campaigns and build a premium brand that stands out from traditional combat sports companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Create compelling content that tells the AMKA story
- Plan and schedule content calendars
- Research trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Help develop launch campaigns and product releases
- Build engagement within the combat sports community
- Assist with influencer and athlete collaborations
- Monitor performance and recommend improvements
- Contribute creative ideas for future products and campaigns

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a strong understanding of social media marketing
- Can tell engaging stories through content
- Has an eye for premium branding and aesthetics
- Is creative, proactive and organised
- Enjoys thinking outside the box
- Wants genuine experience helping grow a startup
- An interest in MMA, boxing, BJJ or fitness is desirable but not essential.
Desirable Skills
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

- TikTok Ads
- Google Ads
- Shopify
- Canva
- CapCut
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Copywriting
- Email Marketing (Klaviyo/Mailchimp)
- Photography or Videography
- Content strategy
