Job Description
As the Founding Platform & Security Engineer at Gradient Labs, you will lead the technical vision for infrastructure and security from the ground up. Reporting to the CTO, you'll architect scalable cloud environments, embed security into AI model lifecycles, and build enterprise-grade systems to protect sensitive financial data for global clients.

What You Will Do
- Spearhead the scalability of the platform's AI agent across multiple cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, while leading global deployment strategies.
- Design and implement a comprehensive security framework covering cloud infrastructure, network integrity, and CI/CD pipelines to automate compliance and vulnerability scanning.
- Partner with AI engineering teams to integrate security best practices into model training and evaluation, ensuring safe and responsible AI innovation.
The ideal candidate
- Has 5+ years of experience in security engineering with deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), networking principles, and application security.
- Is highly proficient in production software development using Go and Python, with a strong background in DevOps automation and systems like Temporal.
- Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills to explain complex security risks to enterprise clients and executive leadership within a fast-paced environment.
