Founding Product Designer (UX/UI + Product Experience) Equity-Based Opportunity | AI-Powered Health Technology Startup

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
Company: Appealia Health
Compensation: Equity-Based Founding Role (Salary Transition Expected Following Funding)

About Appealia Health

Appealia Health is building the next generation of AI-powered health intelligence infrastructure designed to help people better understand, navigate, and improve their health over time. Our vision is to move healthcare beyond reactive treatment and toward proactive, personalised, and continuous support. We are developing longitudinal intelligence systems that create a deeper understanding of an individual's health journey, enabling more relevant guidance, improved care navigation, and stronger preventive health outcomes. We are currently assembling our founding team and are looking for an exceptional Product Designer who wants to help shape both the product and the future of healthcare.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional design role. As our Founding Product Designer, you will play a critical role in defining how users experience Appealia Health from day one. You will help transform complex healthcare, AI, and personalisation systems into intuitive, trusted, and human-centred experiences. You will work directly with the Founder and leadership team to shape product strategy, user journeys, information architecture, design systems, and the visual foundations of the platform. This role offers significant ownership, influence, and the opportunity to become the long-term design leader of the company as we grow.

What You'll Be Building

You will help design products and experiences that sit at the intersection of:

  • AI-powered health intelligence
  • Preventive healthcare
  • Personalised health journeys
  • Care navigation and orchestration
  • Behavioural engagement
  • Trust, transparency, and explainability

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
