Founding Product Engineer - Applied AI
Why this role matters
As one of our Senior Product Engineers, you’ll own and shape the daily patient and clinician experiences that drive NHS care quality, speed, and reliability.
The mission
35% of NHS staff time goes to admin. That’s the challenge. Our current product—used in 26% of GP practices—is a scalable foundation for unlocking smarter, faster healthcare.
Reimagining healthcare technology
With relentless focus on AI and automation, you’ll help design the tools that:
- Boost team velocity with modern engineering workflows
- Create cross-department knowledge graphs from conversations, support logs, product feedback, and operational data
- Unify data silos into a searchable knowledge hub
- Pave the way for urgent insights through early-signal AI
This isn’t tooling—or backend alone. It’s transformation: making it possible for any team across Healthtech-1 to launch safe, high-impact ideas faster.
What we look for
We need a Backend-leaning Fullstack Engineering lead, fluent in balancing speed with rigor:
✔ Key experiences/skills:
- Backend Форментация (React, TypeScript core)
- API crafting: scalable, clean services
- Data productivity: wrangling production systems’ performance
- Integrating AI models into field-relevant workflows
- Prior ML/MLOPS or high-stakes system scaling (health/finance)
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
